today's a big day. it's our project work outing. an outing that sums up what we did in Term 1. an outing that shows how much effort we put in.
we supposed to meet at the centre at 9.30am. guess we were 30mins late. cuz we inviduals was late, somemore we overshot the stop xP
haha(: but nothing happen. no scoldings. no worries(: mrs ong was still telling the story of Jesus &the rest of teh staff were still busy. the elderly aint ready too, either.
we left the centre at 10.30am, later than expected. anyways, we had fun on the bus trip to vivo. i was so-called the '1st half i.c.' so i needa conduct the thing first. 'wan shi kai tou nan' but it was a relief with all you guys' help. though not all the elderly were enthu, but i guess all those who did had lots of fun.
the outing started off with the lunch. fish soup &cheng teng. both equally nice(: next, we had the tram ride to sentosa. it was cool. i saw many smiles on the elderly face. i guess they enjoyed the scenic views? anyways, up next was the window-shopping. yeah, no money needed, just eyes. rachel's 'elderly' were super funny. two aunties that went to the 2nd floor of vivo &said they want to drink coffee. after realising that it's so expensive, they just cancelled their orders, though their coffee is made &they just left like that. after that they started cmplaining in hokkien "they coffee i buy is only 70cents. here sell 7bucks. so ex. so ex" haha. so it's a good thing that they now know that the prices of coffee varies.
besides, we had some photo-taking &toilet trips etc. overall it was pretty fun(: ELDERLY, I LOVE YOU LOADS~
after the volunteer work, we five went to tampines mall. i pierced a 2nd earhole @x-craft. it's pain at the start, but gradually, its okay(: we had fun at toy 'r' us, being a kiddo. a mac ice-cream ends my day off, COOL~
