Yesterday was my grandma's birthday. Yeah, her 74th birthday; May she live her life to the FULLEST! We celebrated by having dinner at Warren Country Club. The food was rather delicious & after that we went to the KTV room. Oh yeah, we sung. But remember, there are adults too. Hence, we took turns to sing. But the adults cheated. They were supposed to 'enter' their chosen song, but they 'inserted' them instead. That means the next song would be theirs, meaning: They cut queue. Haiz.. bo bian. So while waiting, we went to the Arcade. There were little machines, but we managed to kill time there faster, than just waiting in the room. & cause of my little cousin, we missed our many songs. Argh.. But the adults were kind enough to let us insert them. Hence, we sang & sang all the way till 1pm, till the KTV was closing. Hahas, i really enjoyed myself. (:
Today, i had family lunch at Sakae Sushi. I had a little & left at 2.15, cause i was meeting him!! Hahas, we met at Somerset MRT. The two of us, road-blind, travelled an f-ing long way to Cineleisure. hahas. Actually we planned to watch 200 pounds Beauty. But sold out. Haiz.. so i sacrificed a little & watched Blades of Glory for my second time. Yupps, it was nice lah, huh. After the movie we rushed to his house, took his stuff & back to hostel. Ended up being late still. No choice, he has BAD time management. After we fetched him there, [we = his mum & i] he called to say he forgotten to bring his locker key.. Being his mum's dear boy, his mum didnt hestitate to go back to pass it to him. Being another road-blind being, his mum lost her way somehow. & it got us half an hour back! haiz.. BLAH BLAH BLAH, BLAH BLAH BLAH.. & he brightened up my lifeless day(:
Happy times dont last; it'll be another week before we can meet again. But cause of this promise that i cast; i'll try to make it possible to meet you someday this week again. Time flies past; 3months it's gonna be, an anniversary again. ~happy times dont last, but we could refresh them all again !! <3s> ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Remember few posts ago, i did mentioned my passion for teaching, esp. Maths. Yupps. Noelle's change of perspective in Maths & passing of the subject made me really satisfied. Though i wasn't always the one teaching her, but i taught her a bit. Hence, this minor case, to me had succeeded(: Case 2, he shall be. Yes, him. He hate maths all along. I vowed to change him this holiday, to LOVE it the way i do.
ACCORDING TO HIM: I now realised that people hate Maths cause, 1. They couldn't get it right. 2. This discouraged them & they find it hard to understand what went wrong. 3. If they still couldn't understand, this will discourage them more. 4. this cause them to hate it.
So, my method of changing his perspective of maths is to: 1. explained all the things to him, 2. so he could get them right. 3. made him get the right answer for many many questions to gain confidence 4. &he'll stop hating it, hopefully. hahas(:
