Yeah(: as you can guess,i'm gonna post abt my sec2 camp. it's fun.it's worth.it's anything positive. it's my longest out-of-school overnight camp. yeah, so i looked forward to it a week ago.
it started from 9th march, 8am to 12th march, 11am. so it's a long 75hours, without nagging, without schooling. just fun and more fun.
okay, DAY ONE. ice breaking activities @school are okay. not very interesting, but at least, a warm-up. we did intro &h2o.
at campsite. zipline was fun, but not very challenging. it was like a little lame for a camp activity. rock wall climbling was indeed challenging. it's also a little tiring cuz we needa use lots of hand muscles. but it's definitely worthwhile.at least i managed to climb 3storeys high &touched the metal bar. Abseiling was the least fun, cuz it's a waste of time to me. it only took up less than a minute to abseil down,when it took half an hour to wait for my turn.
DAY TWO. challenge rope course was the most fun &challenging. my group did the 'rope-to-rope' element &flying fox. i suceeded in both & managed to do them fast(: just like what amelia said: "you do until it seemed very easy like that." cuz you know why?i loved challenges since young(: &i loved to climb here &there, etc. i loved high rope elements(: so i looked forward to more challenging ones@ Outward Bound. (:
general station really built our team work. we did the log one, whereby everyone stands on the log,then we'll need to change positions, according to the criteria. our group was very anti at first, girls hardly wanna touch boys &vice-versa. but after some time, we finally manage to socialise well with the opposite gender(:
finding private jones is so-called fun lah. we went to places like changi museum, johor battery &changi village. changi museum is a place where we really need to be very quiet. it's interesting in there, many things that can be learnt. but little time. johor battery is a small plot of land, with a large 'bomb-shooter' in there. the funniest part is the acting of a student leader. he acts like nobody's business. real good. he can control not to laugh when everyone's laughing out loud &the guys are making fun of him. boy, you got a bright future in Mediacorp~ changi village was like lame. we went to the beach first, where we were 'shot' by the soldiers (NCC guys). then we went changi village where i saw amelia's bro,who was like a little funny when being 'interviewed'. he's not even serious at all. so, we conclude our search on this mysterious 'JONES' guy @the campsite. &glad to say, we didnt win-.-"
the invincible egg sounded lame to me at first. cuz i played it many many times &had nvr succeed in preventing the egg from cracking. but this time round, we did it! yeah~
DAY THREE. sea kayaking with water confidence. this is my first kayaking experience. it was easy?haha. the part that's hard is when we need to carry the kayak. cuz it's VERY HEAVY! my initial partner was shou suan &the other was ye wen. shou suan is a easy guy to socialise with. he good, funny etc. at least he talks more and encourages ppl more(: whereas ye wen is like quiet, extremely quiet! we had a few team building activities there. we need to stand up on the kayak. everyone stands up &held hands. it's hard, but at least we gave it a good try. &now i've got sunburns!! on my face &arm.
food entreprenuer was rush and lame or what? wonder is which teacher's idea?? anyways, we need to go tampines st.81 for some marketting.buy stuff to cook within 10bucks limit. WE WERE CHEATED!@#$%^&* MCP supermarket cheated us 1buck plus. they sold 10eggs at $2.20 & YES supermarket sold them at $0.95. first time kana cheated until like that. somemore is 4ppl kana cheated leh:( even mr. sim also say must complain lor. anyways, we won best presentation &got some lame gifts.
CAMP FIRE'S BURNING!!!! camp fire was really really fun. super fun.we learn lots from other team. my group, 13, with gropu 14 is called VICTORY. we performed the little green frog thing. it was bound to be entertaining right?our cheer was also not bad bahh, i guess. but i think the banana grp is better.everything also banana.(: the rest of the group also not too bad lah. but overall i think Omega's better than Porsche(: btw, the student leaders' performance was abit ___. out of nowhere played a emo song "wo ke yi".so i was a little emo suddenly. STUDENT LEADERS, please improved on your song selection. thanks.
DAY FOUR. that's today. area cleaning for group us was easy. no need wash toilet. just clean the boys' bunk &the area there.not much litter on the ground and concrete floor. but in the boys' bunk, there's many rubbish that's unbelievable. got many many bottles, plastic bags, papers, a underwear and socks. boys' bunks are dirty, but the girls toilets are even more dirty, so no worries(:
we ended the 4D-3N camp with several songs &cheers. like, botak song &cheer, the remix thing, banana thing, etc. we had fun together. it's memorable. it's sad cuz at the end of the day, we still need to leave the camp site. i prefer it if the trainers didnt sang the farewell song cuz it's kinda touching. luckily, i din drank much water, so... NO TEARS~
OVERALL. in terms of TRAINERS, they are a bunch of real cool &unique trainers. they dont scold. they talk to you nicely. they dont shout, they used cheers to catch your attention. they have many funny cheers, songs &claps. my trainer, YUAN LONG, is perfect!!
in terms of FOOD, the amount's too sufficient.too much. such that in the 4days, i think i'm fatter. but it's delicious &healthy.so, it's okay.
in terms of the DORMITORY. it's a rather cool place to stay in. prefer that to my own bed. cuz it's cooler and nicer(:
**in this camp, i understand my friends better.i also made more friends. i see the double side of them, their goods &bads. for amelia, i realised she kinda dont understand other ppl's xin yi. instructor Jerer had been treating her especially good. he kaypo, cuz he care bout you. hope you understand.~ that's why i rather my friends make fun of me, like for the guys, they call me names, i dont mind. cuz once, my uncle told me that ppl wanna joke with you cuz they care bout you. or at least it's a sign that you still exist in their minds.~
anyways,i made many new friends. *frankly, i socialised better with guys* the guys in my group and grp14 is like 2dL guys. they loved fooling round, joking etc. i kind of made friends with most ppl from grp13-16. but mostly from grp 13 &14.cuz we'r VICTORY(:
