My trip to Shanghai begins on 9th dec 06 to 16th dec 06. The overall trip was fun. Actually, the 8-day trip does not only covers Shanghai, but oso some other places like Hang Zhou, Wuxi, Nanjing and Su Zhou. Actually, the whole trip's known as Nan Jiang nad Shanghai Shopping Spree. Yeah,Shopping Spree!!
Before going dere, I heard from my relatives that the toilets dere have got no doors.. so it was like no 'privacy' and security!! But my first trip to the toilet gave me enough 'security'. Most of the toilets dere has got doors, except for afew [less than 5]. In fact, most of the toilets dere is much cleaner than Malaysia's.
At dere, the ppl called toilets: 'Karaoke', and they replaces 'xiao bian' or 'da bian' to 'chang ge' [sing songs].. Dere's a LONG story behind this.. Besides the different terms used for toilet stuff, they oso had different terms for buses and bus drivers. They called buses: 'ba che' and bus drivers 'shi fu'. So at China, bus drivers sounds very class.
At dere, ppl usually addressed me as 'gu niang' or 'xiao jie'. And for the tour guides dere, they will addressed themselves as 'xiao, followed by their sir-names'. So for me, i'll be called 'xiao yang'. haha =D sounds like a sheep.
Anyways, our overall tour guide dere is xiao li, but ppl called him 'lao li' cuz he's kinda old. At dere, we had 'di pei', which is tour guides for every particular places. Our whole group is made up of about 28 ppl. Of which, 13 is from my family. =D so we kinda have lots of rights !!
Btw, just to let ya noe, the time dere is the same as Singapore. Except that the sun sets earlier dere. The sky is already dark at bout 5pm. So we had our dinner at bout 5pm too.. and the weather dere is really dry, and needless to say, it's quite cold. [bout 5degrees] Its so dry that i had to apply lip gloss and lotion many many times a day!! and wad's more?! i wore up to 5 layers of clothings!!
Now, i shall go to further details on my trip..
9th.dec.06* SATURDAY
The 5hrs spent on the SQ plane was ok. It took bout half an hour for the plane to take off and stable in the sky. So after that half an hour, as usual, the air stewardess will start giving out the head set. And i'll start exploring the KrisWorld. So i decided to watch MOnster House [a movie in which i had missed]. It was nice and at some parts, thrilling.. It was only after that 1hr plus, when i was really tired, that i realised they oso showed Step up. I decided to watched it, but half way through, i fell asleep. I slept for bout 1hr, den my mum woke me up for that EXTRA early breakfast at bout 4o'clock!! The brea1kfast was not very nice, but i still had my share, cuz mom said that the next meal we'll be having is gonna be 9hrs later!! 'Soon', we arrived at Shanghai Airport. It was not as bad as i tot, but still not as good as Singapore's. Anyways, of all the countries that i've visited, none of the airport is as good as Singapore's.
1. After our arrival at the Airport, we walked a distance b4 reaching the Maglev Train Station!! Oh my!! It was the Maglev train which we had learnt in Science!! I couldn't even believed that China had such High Technology!! We took the 1st ride of the day and it's speed was 301km/h. Actually, its max. speed is 431km/h. If only we had took the next ride, den could we experienced the speed!! cuz the train's still warming up!! The train was nice and very comfortable. It has sits similar to the plane's, and of course, it's air-conditioned!!
Anyways, After that 8mins ride to the next station, we alighted and walked a few distance and boarded our coach. We took a 2hrs-ride to Hang Zhou. In the coach, i could spot Ikea, a stadium that's similar to Singapore's and many new buildings and many old houses.. So it's kinda contradicting.
2. Our HangZhou tour guide is 'xiao wang' [a very sweet little 'gu niang']. and Our 1st stop in Hang Zhou was WuZhen Water Town, one of the ancient water towns in the south of Yangtze River [Chang Jiang]. This place is famous for its manty old buildings and houses. At dere, i can experience how the olden days life is. The place was like a MAZE. we curls here and dere, idf not for the guide, we'r sure to be lost!! We had our lunch dere, it was not too bad. The food were tasty but very oily and saltish.
3. We soon left and headed for West Lake. All over the world, dere are several west lakes. bUt this is the original west lake that 'produces' nice scenery.The lake is really really big. You need more than a hundred chung Cheng Lakes to form it! We took a EDUCATIONAL boat ride on it. The whole ride is bout 45mins. And a gu niang will tell you abouit many things related to the West Lake and its history...
4.Near the West Lake, there's a park known as HuaGang Park. There are many beautiful and colourful flowers dere. And there's oso many trees that had got leaves shaped like Maple leaves.
After many shots of the beautiful scenery, we left and to have our dinner at a quite deserted place. However, the food was nicer than afternoon's and not so oily and salty. Oh ya, just to let ya noe, our lunch and dinner for the 8days are mostly the same. Anyways, a unfortunate thing happened. I spilled a cup of coke cuz my coat was so thick that i cant feel a thing, but luckily for me, the coke didnt splashed on me, but onb my cousin Regina!! haha, so 'heng'!!
After dinner, we went back to our hotel. For the whole trip, we only go to our hotel at the end of the day at bout 8pm to 9plus daily. The hotel was really modern and unique!! I dunno how to describe it.. But it's just very EXTRAORDINARY!!
10.dec.06* SUNDAY
Today, it wasnt that cold le.. bout 8*C. But the breakfast really really sux like hell !! The food was so damn OILY, so i just had a few spoons of century egg porridge, and luckily, my mum made the 3-in-1 milo for me=D.
1. Right after breakfast, we went to MeiJiaWu Tea Culture Village, where its 'long jing' tea was really nice and famous. But guess you guys haven heard of it.. At dere, the tea 'professor' showed us a green tea experiment to show us the goodness of green tea. There are 4 grades of green tea [B, A, AA and AAA] The AAA green tea leaves are really precious. Cuz dere's only one day in a year that can produce this AAA green tea leaves. So it

Today, i slipped out of the hse just lik wad i did ytd.. It was the same time too.. But the place i slipped to was even further away than ytd's.. It was.. AMK centre.. hahax.
Slipping out of hse now, seemed to be a challenging thing to do... it was fun.. This time round, i lied to my dad that i was going down to help my mum buy something and oso, to eat.. cuz i din had my breakfast.. So i went down to help my mum buy 6packet of Bak Kut Teh..den went to get something at a phone shop.. den rushed to the bus stop.. Opps!! i missed the bus.. if only i were a few seconds faster =(
The 6packets of Bak Kut Teh made me real Paiseh lor.. thus, i decided to ask the person at the cashier to help me look after first.. den went i come back den get it from her again.. So i headed my way to the bus stop again and the bus came just in time.. BUS 88!! I went to AMK centre's MAC to hand over the earpiece and took BUS 162 back!!
When the bus was reaching my hse bus stop, my dad called.. i was scared that when i answer, den someone would ring the bell.. den my dad would knew bout it all.. so i rejected his call!! Den the moment i alighted, i called him back..i tot he was gonna scold me.. but, PHEW!! he hust asked me to buy him a packet of rice!! hahax..
I was so damn relieved that i quickly buy him the packet of rice, and went to the supermarket to buy some honey, den retrieved my Bak Kut Teh back.. hahax.. When i reached home, i pass my dad that packet of rice, den he asked my why take so long.. den i just try to change the subject by saying that the weather's so hot.. and that i ate something spicy.. and so on......
And so, with my excuses, i escaped from being caught!! Yeah!!

ytd was mum's birthday... de nite b4, i secretly put a gift in her bag cuz i knew i wun be able to wake up so early de next day.. and at bout 9am plus, she realised the gift and msg me: thx.. Then about 5plus, we went Orchard, Tangs, to shop.. mum exchange her credit card points for a $50 voucher. Den we walked to Wisma to shop and later to Taka. My leg was aching and at that point i start to feel sick.. So i gave attitude in spite of mum's b'dae.. She was kinda disappointed with me.. Den she said: since you dun enjoy coming out, den we might as well go home.. And so, we made our way home.. But half way through, my dad asked if we wan to eat b4 going back, so i just nodded thoug i wasnt even hungry. We had our dinner at Sushi tei, where i just ate 6pieces of sushi that cost me $2.20?? We only spent 20 dollar plus there..
Later on, we went to J8, i was damn damn sick there le.. but my mum n dad just tink that i'm showing them attitude nia, so they just ignored me.. =( My dad bought a tiny cake from Polar.. Cuz we only have 3members in our family, so buy so big for wad?? Anyways, when we reached home my mum wasnt in good mood too, so she rejected the cake and now, it's still in the fridge..
**At bout 9plus, i realised i had fever, and my degree was lik 39.4.. Den mum said that i beta drink lots of water, cuz if tmr my temp. if more than 37.5 den i cant go out.. i did drank lots of water, but my temp's still 37.9.. though it was much much beta, but i still cant go out=(
And so, tis morning at bout 11.50am, i slipped out off the hse. I lied to my dad that i was going down to buy lots of things.. Haha=) den i go J8 meet Rachel, shun bian pass her the chinese story book and Amelia's salary.. Rachel looked real good in Jeans, or at least much beta than in skirt. nad her that shirt was pretty nice. But she wasnt in good condition too.. she had sore throat.. Anyways, hope she'll recover fast and so will i!!

Yesterday, we ended up watching Open Season @ CineLeisure, cuz Step Out's screening time is @ bout 5plus.. so we just watch Open Season lor.. Anyways it was a nice show.. very very funny, and at some points, touching. The movie ticket was only $6.50 lor.. damn cheap lah. Usually at GV, it's sold @ $7plus.. the popcorn oso very cheap, we bought family combo de, 2drinks + 1popcorn, total is 5plus..
We took Neoprint afterwards, the machine's called 'XX age'.. quite nice.. anyways we had a great time dere, and b4 we left for home, we went to Taka to buy a stick of chicken each.. hahha xDLabels: 2006; The Past

My mum met WMX today, so i din reali noe wad's my results n positions, so on.. WMX said i got 12th in class.. haiz... deproved by 4 positions n lost to ven by 3positions.. perhaps is alternate cuz last time Mid-Year so lost to me by 3positions too..
Anyways, we planned going to Plaza Sing today, but my mum said cant.. Shit her lah!! Anyways, had my 3rd arguement wid Amelia at day n nite eva since last friday..
1St was at ACM, 2nd was ytd.. haiz.. so if tmr still cold war den i reali reali die le.. no one to tok to.. hope tt i'll b able to compromise her de next time we argue.. But if beta still, i hope tt there wun b a next time..=)

Today is de day tt i've been waiting for since months ago!!......i finally got my contacts =)thxs to madel...
Anyways, it was reali reali a great feeling while wearing contacts, somemore is 1-day de... everything seemed much clearer than wearing specs. It seemed as if i'm nt even short-sighted at all... Howeva, haiz.. tt clan ppl will still give lots n lots of comments lah.. but nvm.. they'll get used to it one day.. ;)
Actually, another disadvantage would b putting it on.. today was my 1st time..... haiz.. i took damn long- >30mins... But rach was patient n kind enuff to teach me how to put it in.. she gave a comment.."ur eyes r just too small"..
I first tried to put it into my left eye.. after 15mins, rach was suggesting tt she help me put.. so she tried, but i din open my eyes wide enuff n tis made her reali pissed, so in de end i tried putting it in myself.. n .........WOOT!! it went in in <3mins 3mins =")
Anyways, i wore it for just less than 5hours b4 taking it out at bout 2pm...but nvm, i'm gonna wear it again tmr.. but as unlucky as dunno wad, while washing my contacts, one of them fell out of my hand n went into de sink n was wash off by de tap water.. sadded=( wasted 2 contacts today.. left onli 3.5pair.. cuz i bought 5pairs nia (my $15 gone!!). Btw, my dad was at home just now.. but he oso nvr suspect lah.. cuz he was mopping de floor n doing his own stuff...

Haiz.. I oso din do well for my other subjects.
History: 27/45 (so-so lah.. at least beta than SA1)
HCL Paper 2: Fail lah... even if combine wid paper 1 oso fail..(but luckily when combined wid SA1 i din fail..=)
Maths Paper 2: 37.5/50.. i was lik kinda different from others.. other ppl do beta for paper 2, but i did beta for paper 1. But de results still no good =(my standard dropped)
Literature: 43.5/75 (as happy as a lark)
English Paper 1:40/60..quite happy..

Me n Rach was kinda LAGGED when buying de food.. cuz we took a long time to decide wad we wan eat.. den onli after de 5 of them got their food liao den we started queueing.. De burgers were kinda yummy n cheap.. hahax.. actually ninny dun wan come de.. but in de end, nanny still manage to persuade her =) Since de food was YUMMY, i'm sure tt next time, ninny would wanna come again..
de day b4 ytd, nannyNINNY(amelia)'s phone spoilt!! ppl can sms her, but she cant reply.. After tt, her phone was kinda beta, but not much beta.. she can reply, but she needa type her msg all in one go..very very quickly..without spacing somemore.. haiz.. sad for her.. so ytd, Rach bought her old HP to lend her..a samsung 1..Kinda nice, but no charger.. so i bought it home to try if my dad's charger can fix it.. YEAH!! it works!! but sad to say tt de phone's screen got prob.. perhaps they;re fated not to used it!! Anyways, nanny was kinda nice enuff to help them call singtel n ask where can repair.. ANSWER : Century square 4th level.. so we planned to go today..
BUT my mum lah.. she dun allow me go.. i told her we going watch movie.. she say cannot.. Walao.. spoil my whole wkend's mood lah.. damn it lah.. stupid lah.. now hai dao amelia n rach de mood oso spoil liao.. somemore how they gonna repair tt phone?? haiz.. my mum is totally idiotic.. tt's all i can say.. my dad's much much beta.. how i wish i can b lik RACH...(to rach: i'm not suaning you tis time round, but if u tink i'm, den so sry..)

Can u believe it?! it's de 1st time i'm grounded!! ARgHH!! Ytd, i asked my mum if i can go kBox on friday, she said NO.. so i was lik quite disappointed but i still din show attitude. but a few minutes later, i approached her n asked her Why Cannot?? Den she said cuz i naughty.. almost try to oppose wad she said n wheneva she asked me do things i'll b lik sianz...
So tt's her reasons... i was lik so damn not happy =(.. so i tried 'DEBATING' wid her.. n hope tt can go.. but after de DEBATE, she said.."actually i wan let u go de... but now tt u always go against me, i've decided not to!! n for these 2 weeks, u'r GROUNDED!!" OMG!! i'm lik so damn sad n disappointed...
Today, got back HCL paper 1... HAiz, 4 de 'ying yong wen' i wrote out of point, so it's lik got onli 11... den compo got 48.. haiz.. NO COMMENTS lah... nothing to say (even my naggy mum have no comments..) Maths was lik so damn it.. but let's no mention abt it lah.. =) But dere's 1 thing i'll still have to say.. Toh wei was lik asking me how much i got.. den i asked him how much he got.. When he said he got 41.. i was lik cursing him :"qu si la!!!" den he was lik..'huh?! ni shu wo arh?!" Walao ehh.. he damn suan me lah.. perhaps it's retribution.. CUZ i oso suan my dear b4 tt.. :P
After debrief, i went home... den on bus i was lik nothing do.. so was lik planning wad to do for de weekend.. I CANT USE INTERNET (unless lik now.. i secretly use de).. I CANT GO OUT.... I CANT TIS, I CANT THAT... haiz..felt like a bird in de cage... or perhaps... (a poo stuck inside de ARSE).. thus, i went 4 a hair cut.. lik tt oso can lighten Cheong Jing's burden.. so tt she wun have too hard a time to style my hair for de drama performance... AnyWays.. my hair style's quite sucky.. haiz.. no choice lah.. still have gotta go sku on monday. IF UR FIND MY HAIRSTYLE TOO UGLY, DEN TOO BAD LOR.. UR CAN CHOOSE NOT TO COME TO SKU SO AS TO NOT SEE MY UGLY FACE... =PP

Anyways, ytd was lik children's day, n my dar was de onli 1 who wish me happy children's day. Tis is perhaps cuz she understand me most. Cuz she noe tt i'm still as childish as eva xD Though i weren't a child anymore, but ytd nite, i had a GREAT children's day gift from CCHMS!! We won de SHOWTIME FINALS!!! Yeah!! was reali reali happy. just couldn't believe both my eyes n ears. I vote twice while WAI KHEE voted 6 times leh. Tis shows tt she reali reali ought to b thanked for. =)
Just now, bout an hour ago, after i had my lunch, i went to my hse downstairs de specs shop 2 kinda ask de person dere help me adjust my specs. cuz kinda slanted.. dunno y?! anyways, at dere, i was lik trying to try my dad all de advantages of contacts, try to convinced him to get a pair 4 me. i told him it was reali reali cheap. Haiz... but my words fell on deaf ears... he just didn't react.. sianx.. a fertile hope again!! Must go study le.. might not b posting 4 days.. or mayb even weeks.. so bye!! Ytd.. sth bad happened after sku. We went D&T room to complete de D&T. I n Rach both scored 34, while Amelia scored 35. With competitive mindsets, me n Rachel was willing to begged Mr.Sim 4 tt 1 mark, in order to beat Amelia. Amelia n Ven went back class !st n wait 4 us. Me n Rach was lik taking our own sweet time begging him n following him wherever he go... Abt an hour later, we then realised tt our efforts were down de drain. Haiz.. sadded, we went back class. On de stairs, i was lik thinking of lying to Ven n amelia tt we did managed to beg him for tt mark, cuz i dun wan them to feel tt they have wait for us for NOTHING. Who noes tt Amelia was quite angry as to y must i b so COMPETITIVE. she was angry cuz she was hungry n tt y must i always everything oso wan win her [eg: sit n reach]. Den suddenly down de stairs, Amelia walked damn fast n by de time we reached 1st floor, she was missing!!! It was onli bout 5 mins later den i realised she had made her way to de canal bustop lo.. n hade soon boarded de bus. Haiz.. was reali reali guilty n sorri 4 making my beloved dar angry... We ate our lunch n soon left sku. After ven alighted, a small problem occured between Me n Rach. I thought she angry me 4 wadeva reasons. But onli when i reached home den i realised tt she just dun feel lik tokin at tt time. Anyways, i still tink i kinda make her angry somehow lah...
Todae, Eng Paper 1 was ok so was de HCL Paper 1.. After sku, we took a long time b4 we decided to go Singpost to eat. We planned to had KFC as we were kind of bored of MAC. But when we reached dere, we changed our minds n went LONG John. And at LONG John, we changed our minds AGAIN n went to MAC. hahaxD.. cuz got offer mah... is lik 1 person less than 3bucks leh..=) At dere i became their NANNY again somehow... hahax. I just act lik one anyways...help them buy food, take tissue, etc etc. After eating, AS USUAL, ven was tokin to Shao on phone. We called Shao, so as to stop them from tokin. Haha.. i noe i'm an EVIL nanny. We started naming ourselves wid nicks.

Calligraphy test today was EASY PEESY (or perhaps, quite ok lar). The lessons were quite boring *yawn*. Anyways, went day n night again after sku wid de usual few + noelle n celest=) I ate a $1.40 cup noodles. haiz... nothing special lar, just alot of MSG lor... n despite noeing de amt of MSG it contains, i still drank finish de soap. haiz... next time old tt time sure got lots of sickness 1 lar, n might die early=( Nothing much happen dere besides de consuming of mee: jus had a dessert... a ice stick (xi de guo dong). ***A surprise present 4 me!!*** ytd, me n amelia kinda 'stead'. haha... so now she's my dar n i'm her DEER. ya, deer =). cuz ven kinda wan break wid her , so as 2 concentrate more on her Shao.
Anyways, a few moments after i stepped in class. I received a shocking news. It was tt ZOE lyk ttw. OMG!!! it's lik wad de?! how could it b... Anyways, zoe sent ttw quite a few msg during de weekend. i rmb 1, it's sth lik... "I hope u wun b shocked after reading tis... i lik u... i hope u wun avoid me... still rmb tt u owe me a favour, i was thinking of u being my bf as a favour." Hahax. i was indeed quite shocked! though de msg was not 2 me. But afterall, i tink they kinda pei... haha xD
Today's was kinda fun as compared to last wk. But unfortunately, all our acting suxs =( Anyways, went day n night eat cup noodle after sku. n after tt we went singpost to help tt troublesome Rachel find de fei lun hai CD. (result: no fei lun hai CD spotted!!). Den leh.. my dar went Popular to look for marker. Wah!! she took a LONG time lor... cuz she just cant find a marker which none of us have n which is de colour she lik. Felt sad 4 teachers cuz no matter how interesting their lessons are todae, i still cant pay attention. Cuz ytd nite slp late. (all thx 2 yisheng). Ytd, she asked us stay back till lik so freaking late lah, bout 6.35 lik tt leh. Reached home bout 8.15 den bathe n ate dinner at bout 8.45?! After tt still must help her print so dunno wadeva things (not impoprtant de lor), she even asked us to do bookmark which she todae oso nvr ask from us. It's lyk..WAD DE!!! Lucky i smart den din do alot... Hahax. Den slp at bout 11 ytd, woke up at 6 todae [slp 4 onli 7hrs]. Den tis morning damn sleepy lah. Somemore todae got science test n i din learn. Lucky abt half of de questions r on CLASSIFICATION, if nt i sure die le. Haha=) anyways, after went mac eat. At dere, we saw yifan,' jeral-mire'[a prefect from MD]. We go suan him lah. Wa-lao eh... he got de whole level's HAIRIEST leg lah. Den he say he got stead somemore. It's lik wad de?! i wonder if his stead is blind or wad?! Anyways, he reali got suan by us till...haiz... POOR THING!!! Haha=) i left early cuz Rach n Amelia was lik havin their own conversation, but anyway, i oso have to go home cuz my mum's nagging.
